Our Stock of the Week is Five9, Inc. (FIVN). Five9 is a cloud-based contact center software company that provides AI-powered customer experience solutions to enterprises, enabling businesses to handle customer interactions across voice, chat, email, and social channels through a single integrated platform.

After trending lower for the past five years, FIVN finally hit traders’ radar screens on May 1st when the company reported Q1 2026 results, with revenue growing 9.2% to $305.3 million (vs. est. $300 million) and adjusted earnings of $0.76 per share (vs. est. $0.68). Notably, AI revenue grew 68% year-over-year, accounting for 13% of total subscription revenue. Since then FIVN released a new version of its Voice AI Agents platform on June 23rd and brought on a new Chief Technology Officer and Chief Sales Officer June 29th with a focus on product development and sales execution.

From a valuation perspective, FIVN has a trailing PE of 8.3x, a forward PE of 7.6x, and a forward price-to-earnings growth ratio of 0.89 (a reading below 1.0 is generally considered undervalued), suggesting that the stock could be one of the few “value” names in the space.

Technically, FIVN saw some follow-through into the end of May before pulling back after reaching longer-term lateral resistance. Since then, shares have worked their way back and, more recently, have been flagging just under June 1st highs, forming a near-term cup-and-handle pattern in the process. As always, we will not chase any early strength on Monday morning, but will look to aggressively trade the stock as the chart develops, keeping in mind that the company is set to report Q2 earnings on July 30th.
